Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Development and Implementation of effective sourcing strategies for production material (machined parts, heat and surface treatment) based on solid analysis of market, prices and costs
• Opening up alternative sourcing opportunities
• Selection and qualification of new suppliers in close cooperation with Quality and R&D
• Negotiation of frame agreements and prices
• Pushing cost reduction initiatives using technical levers
• Contribute to make or buy analysis
• Management of the supply base including supplier selection, rating and implementation of joint actions to improve the performance
• Close cooperation with tactical purchasing in order to assure the supply of material considering quality, time and cost
• Supporting development and other projects

• Working autonomously, strong communication and negotiation skills, motivation
