Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Maintain knowledge of FATCA regulatory and compliance environment as it impacts service and/or clients
• Review documentation and support FATCA projects
• Act as a point of contact for tax queries
• Prior involvement in Chapter 3 IRS tax regulations and Primary and Secondary Q1 and payee identification processes
• Travel regularly to offices in the CEE
• Document management and archiving
• Timely communication to the appropriate parties
• Based on seniority able to guide and train colleagues and be a leading example on complex content matters

Personality requirements and skills
• Experience in an international banking environment
• Strong knowledge of banking products; Financial markets, Lending and Trade Finance products
• Background in Tax and FATCA for multiple years as a specialist
• Personal experience in implementation of FATCA in a large organisation; ideally an international bank
• Familiar with W8/W9 or other certification and has been personally involved in assessments for having these executed and issued and/or monitoring the validity and the content of these forms from counterparties or clients
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Team player
• Logical thinking
• Strong knowledge of banking products; Financial markets, Lending and Trade Finance products
• Background in Tax and FATCA for multiple years as a specialist
• Personal experience in implementation of FATCA in a large organisation; ideally an international bank
