Planning manager

• manage the supply of raw materials to company site
• control of vendors and level of inventory
• plan finished goods production and capacity to ensure achievement of targeted service levels
• provide clear positive communication with sales and customer service across the company
• ensure process adherence to company´s global supply chain standards, particularly understand and control of SAP
• ensure correct use of SAP and oversee positive validation of SAP data and process adherence at company site. Manage SAP MRP planning parameters at all levels.
• liaise with sales offices to produce sales plan, review inventory for finished goods and provide order updates and maintain supply/demand profile accurately. Act as key contact for OEM customers and control plan. Ensure good communication with CS teams and intercompany contacts. Provide accurate order dates in a timely manner.
• set and maintain the manufacturing plan, based on customer demand, and linked to plant capacity and inventory plan. Ensure and agree supplier stocking levels. Ensure accurate and timely purchasing of material from supplier base. Work with Strategic sourcing to ensure optimum supplier base.
• manage staff recruitment and training, monitor team performance and ensure KPIs are met
• take an active role in the continuous improvement process both within the cells and across all supply chain activity.
