Job description, responsibilities and duties

Place of work - BYTČA
Leading sourcing process for new nominated projects
Part of the project team and communicates/provides purchasing related topics in proper timely and quality level
Professional lead of company project purchasing
Strategic Project Purchasing (from product development to acceptance of serial production) of materials, components and other services with clear focus on timing, costs and quality
Independent negotiations, observation and analysis of worldwide sourcing markets, identification of alternative production technologies, supplier search and – development, offer assessment and contracting
Estimation of certain risks, chances and market situations during project cycle
Active contribution with overlapping purchasing strategies into the project process to reach worldwide purchasing strategy goals and simultaneously to ensure the maximum productivity- and cost objectives of the project
Close teamwork with Program Management, Engineering, Sales, Purchasing Organisation
Regular Supplier Contacts to build strategic supplier relationships by ensuring the supplier qualification

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

University education – technical or economics
Purchasing experience in Automotive Supply Industry
Project and leadership experience
Fluent knowledge of English language
Second foreign language is desirable
Knowledge of cost models, LPP studies, Should cost model analysis
Advanced user of MS Office
Competence in negotiations, presentation techniques and methods
Good team- and cooperation capabilities and result orientation
