Job description, responsibilities and duties

Finance Controller is responsible for management of the Finance Department:
Financial strategy of the company and business plan
Budget and Forecast preparation
Management of financial audits and tax advisors
Communication with banking institutions and insurance companies
Financial reports and statements in accordance with local and international financial and accounting standards (IFRS)
Management and supervision of accounting, financial controlling and other processes of payroll accounting, closing of books, investment accounts, general ledger, taxes, cash-flow, etc.
Active participation on strategic projects – monitoring and controlling capital investment
Responsibility for organizing, managing and controlling people and activities within Finance Department as well as to other departments, to HQ and Owners
Set up financial and operational metrics, analytical system and methodology
Finance Controller is a member of company management

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Personality requirements and skills

Deep knowledge and experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position – 10 years, at least 5 years in a leadership role
Experience from an international company (production - commercial company is an advantage)
Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles including IFRS
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projects
Knowledge of German language is advantage
Organizational and planning skills
Flexible attitude and self-management
Ability to handle stressful situations
