Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Being responsible for overviewing product delivery from Asia to EMEA region
Verifying order requests with EMEA customers
Checking a product availability on stock, or contacting client’s production facilities to place production requests
Keeping eye on meeting production due dates, making sure transportation means are booked and confirmed
Preparing all documents necessary for import of products to EMEA countries
Informing customers about obstacles on production or transportation side, and estimated delivery dates
Preparing regular KPI reports
Continuously improving existing logistics processes and optimizing logistic costs
Supporting and advising other Customer Support and Logistic Specialists

Personality requirements and skills

High school/University degree (preferably technical field)
Deep understanding of logistic processes and production planning in manufacturing environment
Customer support and logistic planning working experience
Active command of written and spoken English is must
Active command of written and spoken Chinese is a huge advantage
PC literacy – MS Office, Outlook, (SAP is an advantage)
Strong communication and organizational skills are inevitable as well as preciseness, pro-active approach and responsibility
