Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Plant IT Technician who will provide expert IT support for the production shift & will work on international projects with the mother company.
- Provide first-line technical support to production staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Customization of IT industrial automation systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the IT teamto implement and maintain IT infrastructure improvements and upgrades.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system backups and software updates.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of production-related software applications.
- Train production staff on the use of IT systems and software as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of IT equipment inventory and software licenses.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding IT security and data protection.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the automotive industry to recommend innovative IT solutions.
- Solving problems in production based on requirements - shift work.

YOU ARE A GREAT CANDIDATE IF YOU HAVE
- Willingness to work on shifts (3-shift operation)
- Education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in providing IT support in a production or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
