Automotive purchasing manager (key projects deal maker)

For our client - TOP TIER 1 automotive producer, we are searching for experienced PURCHASING / PROJECT / LOGISTICS Manager. Successful candidate will be part of the CORE project development team, directly reporting to Program Director.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

* To be responsible for all of the suppliers during the development phase (2 years) from the quality, cost and planning point of view
* To set the budget in accordance to project objectives at the beginning of a long-term project
* To guide and coordinate all of the technical changes in the project with the suppliers
* To negotiate according to projects cost, quality and deadlines
* Be responsible for problem-free start of the production
* Be responsible for keeping up with the validation time plan when purchasing the desired parts
* To solve all of the problematic situations with the suppliers
* Project team management - in a functional matter
