JOB VISION (potential)

PRODUCTION PROGRAM LEADER acts as the company’s most senior local PROJECT strategy representative being responsible for the following overall A-Z long-term key project lifecycle:

... LEADING CORE PROJECT TEAMS (manufacturing, engineering, buying & quality departments).
... COMMUNICATION WITH CUSTOMERS (mainly EMEA region & Germany).
... PROCESS QUALITY & PROJECT MILESTONES checks.

PRODUCTION PROGRAM LEADER manages both the process and people functions of defined program/project entity and has direct responsibility for project status and deadline oriented achievements. He reports hierarchically to the Country General Manager as well as functionally to the Program Director based in Germany.


JOB ROLE (competence set)

• Manages and delivers the project objectives (company & Customer) Safety, Quality, Cost, Timing, Profitability & Cash
• Manages and ensures the project plan and total development budget is in accordance with the agreed Statement of work (S. O. W.)
• Negotiates the core tam member’s department S.O.W.s and their agreed development budgets, in agreement with the program director, the project objectives and the Customer S.O.W.
• Responsible for the profitability of the project and sets targets for the project core team members to achieve as defined (Development hours, PRU, investments, cash flow…)
• Follows and applies the direction of the Business unit through the direction of the Program director
• In line with the ‘OPTIMAP Project Plan’ validates the actions and the progress of the core teams ‘Work packages’ ensuring they are completed in line with the project planning
• Manages the (internal/external) perimeter change process and ensures the project budget (hours, investment and PRU) is updated
• Ensures that the optimum technical and manufacturing solutions/choices are made by the project team to meet the “design to target cost” project objectives
• Manages project development expenditure versus the planned project budget and identifies any deviation to the agreed project budget (hours, investment and PRU) and takes appropriate actions to realign
• Manages the cash flow of the total development budget (inclusive of tooling/other costs) and is the only project team member who can authorize payment to suppliers respecting company´s procedures and terms
• Responsible for ensuring the contribution and actions of all project team members to the manufacturing readiness process to achieve a non-event launch
• At the end of the project: determines the status against the original project objectives Quality, Cost, Timing and feeds back lessons learned
• Is company´s accountable representative of the project for the customer and responsible for the coordination/management of all the project team members communications to the customer
• Responsible of the quality application and follow up the final customer validation files with the APQP engineer
• Is responsible for ensuring that all the customer deliverables (including: customer approval, APQP, build deliveries etc.) are managed and delivered by the ‘Project team’ and reports the progress to the customer in line with the agreed SOW

PLACE OF WORK: we are looking for candidates from all over Slovakia, our client´s HQ is in western region - wchich would be your place of work. This position requires travelling, mainly CZ, HU, PL + Germany & France.
