Job description, responsibilities and duties

YOUR ROLE:

The Project Quality Leader takes full responsibility for assuring the project team deliver the project quality results and ensure customer objectives are met.

The MISSION of role is to:

• Reinforce customer quality interface for the project team.
• Have an independent customer position in the project especially for
escalation process of quality risks.
• Support the plant and project organization to secure launch and rampup.
• Be the link between plant quality organization and project team.

Core RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the customer APQP process to achieve the customer approval by deploying the customer specific requirements to the core team members and validating the core teams deliverables before presenting to the customer with the Program Manager.
• Represent the project team when interfacing the customer for APQP reviews, complaint reporting and product quality reviews.
• Manages metier perimeter (including metier experts & suppliers) during the whole development phase, with a focus on cost, quality, timing
• Identify the gaps in the quality deliverables to the customer requirements back to the core team members and escalate to the Program Manager and Customer Quality Manager when there is a risk to achieve the project quality objectives & customer satisfaction.
• Represent the Customer when defining the acceptance to their requirements in internal product cosmetic audit & APQP evaluation reviews.
• After the transfer of production equipment to the plant, provide feedback to the core teams members on the geometry, aspect & validation results for pre-series maturation up to customer approval.
• Support the plant team in order to ensure all quality processes are efficiently deployed into the plant organization
• Support the ‘series / productivity’ change management teams for product / process changes / tools transfers that require updates to the customer APQP / approval documentation
• Where a major customer or internal complaint has occurred leads the 8D problem solving process to meet the customer’s expectations
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company through the identification of lessons learned from the start of the project to the end
