Job description, responsibilities and duties

JOB VISIONARY:

Management of IT Business Analyst team, their respective processes and key performance indicators, in Europe Units. Leading the interface with Business Process, coordinating all steps of process to define and prioritize IT initiatives and the resources to support (CAPEX – Capital Expenditure + OPEX + IT resources) of business applications.

CORE MISSION:

As a leader of the global IT and Business applications team, this role needs to set the appropriate tone at the top. The position requires a leader who leads by example, is competent, confident, perseverant, inspirational, influencing, disciplined and dependable. In addition, this individual needs to be highly collaborative, a strong communicator and continuous improvement minded. The ability to deliver tactical projects while anticipating issues and thinking strategically is required.

The position requires a demonstrated ability to manage a diverse portfolio of requests, quickly mediate between competing priorities, and work effectively with IT colleagues, contractors, and business management both within and across reporting relationships, business units and geographic regions.

IT MANAGEMENT KEY COMPETENCIES:

• PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
Plan and manage application portfolio within the process area. Work with business to understand business strategies. Assist with the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities. Make recommendations regarding administrative, organizational, and operational problems. Assist with the preparation and administration of the budget, maintain and monitor appropriate budgetary controls, assist with the development of information system standards, and design and implement new and revised systems to ensure effective and efficient services.

• STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT
Fulfill a leadership role in IT strategic initiatives including developing and implementing IT strategic roadmaps aligned with business strategy, expanding organizational capacity to execute on IT strategies.

• BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business processes and strategies. Assist in development of business case to prioritize and drive IT initiatives. Establish a communication channel with business to provide regular updates in terms of status and steering committee updates.
Leads project execution for all business applications ensuring full compliance with IT standards.
Responsible with IT services Leader for Key Performance indicators:
- Response time
- Users satisfaction
- System availability
- Budget Management (investment and expenses)
Supports and coordinates, in Europe Units, the development and implementation of IT methodology, processes and documentation according to the implementation strategy defined in the corporate level.

• PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
Responsible for hiring and professional development of staff. Selects, develops and reviews associates/employees. Conducts interviews, individual performance and development planning performance reviews.

• IT PROCEDURAL SCOPE
Researches and recommends system development priorities, project estimations, resolves procedural problems, assists with formulating departmental policy and procedures, recommends new or revised standards, procedures, and policies around areas of responsibility. Participates in forecasting and long-term planning, implements long-term plans, uses non-traditional/creative approaches to problem-solving, recommends new or revised standards, policies, etc. in areas of responsibilities.

• RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Monitor and ensure the efficienct use of material and financial resources necessary for the organizational unit, assign tasks to his reports and supervise their implementation.


This job reports to Corporate IT Director, dotted line: local General Manager.
Number of direct reports: up to 5 (locally based)
