JOB VISIONARY:

Procurement Expert provides the necessary PROCUREMENT agenda to support the local purchasing team and the PLANT in achieving optimal levels of SAFETY, QUALITY, PRODUCTIVITY and DELIVERY to assure best results for internal customer.

CORE MISSION:

• Support the company´s mission, vision, values and goals in performance of daily activities while ensuring adherence to its standards, guidelines and BUSINESS ETHICS.
• Develop strong knowledge of the group´s EQUIPMENT MARKETPLACE, purchasing terminology as well as PLANT OPERATIONS.
• Resolution of purchasing related suppliers issues that impact the SUPPLY CHAIN and effect the plant.
• Monitor the MARKET TRENDS and share the knowledge with the rest of purchasing group.
• CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT and achievement of quality goals.
• Drive realization of purchasing cases in a TIMELY MANNER through effective project management and efficient practices.

PURCHASING KEY KOMPETENCIES:

• Responsibility for purchasing items in accordance with ESTABLISHED POLICIES and procedures.
• Get knowledgeable of MARKETPLACE COST DRVERS: evaluate, purchase and expedite materials for company´s facilities at a competitive cost.
• Responsible for preparing purchase requests based on projections for combined plant quantity and MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS.
• Find OPTIMAL BALANCE between purchase PRICES, payment TERMS and INVIOCEMENT in related timeline.

VENDOR MANAGEMENT:

• Utilize Supplier Relationship Management programs that focus on QUALITY, PRODUCTIVITY and INNOVATION while scheduling deliveries.
• Support end users at corporate and field locations within established SLA’s and provide feedback to the pertinent teams & ensure that the issues are worked to ACCEPTABLE RESOLUTION.
• Work with USERS, SOURCING MANAGERS, SUPPLIERS and TECHNICAL TEAMS to enhance the design, implement, and communicate relevant requirements to the supplier.
• Ensure smooth vendors DOCUMENTS processing through the system (e.g. invoices).
• Cooperation with suppliers in terms od QUALITY CONTROL, IMPROVEMENT CHECK and evaluation of DELIVERY EFECTIVENESS.
• Manage and facilitate COMMUNICATION FLOW with suppliers to define and coordinate the timeline and tasks while acting as the KEY POINT OF CONTACT for supplier preparation activities.
• Create and maintain USER DOCUMENTATION and all related VENDOR ONBOARDING processes.
• Actively participate in new activities which may include: data analysis & presentation, meeting participations etc.
• Proactively REPORT ISSUES and exceptions to troubleshot ad hoc warnings, fix issues and ensure no disruption to the production users ever is encountered.
