Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
THIS ROLE CONSISTS OF:
• Ownership of process improvement initiatives across functional departments (including A/P, Procurement, Cost Owners).
• Key point of contact with external auditors to provide support in both quarterly reviews and annual Group and statutory audits, providing sign off of audit reviews provided to Group.
• Responsibility for the monthly closing and ensuring all network evolutions and savings initiatives are properly reflected in the monthly books.
• Delivery of all monthly and ad hoc financial reporting requirements of the business, including P&L and B/S analysis, managed under tight restrictions over cash outflows, requiring ongoing negotiations with Procurement and suppliers.
• Support operational internal customers in the profitability improvement.
• Follow closely the evolution of international unit costs through regular review of International product P&L.
• Review and validate cost savings initiatives driven by Sourcing community.
• Participate to the different transformation projects
• Support operational teams to build the half-year reforecast and annual budget
• Facilitate interlock in particular with Network Services and Sourcing
• Run analyses allowing Management to set up targets, validate the assumptions, challenge the future needs and assess the risks & opportunities.
• Objective setting, performance/remuneration review and headcount management - with aim to focus employees to achieve critical business objectives and encourage speed of execution.
• Management of own cost centre, ensuring all actions taken to meet strict targets in terms of both departmental costs and headcount.
