System Analyst

Establishing and maintaining agreement with the customers and other stakeholders on what the system should do.
Close cooperation with managers and end users to define system requirements.
Preparing of system requirement specification, which describes the business needs for a system in a language that is acceptable by system users.
Ensuring customer’s business needs are properly interpreted and translated into system requirements.
Providing system developers with a better understandig of the system requirements.
Taking the System Requirements Specification and prepare a functional requirements specification, which transform each system requirement into logical components that might be more easily translated into a computer program.
Preparing of a Non-Functional Requirements Specification, which would specify system needs such as performance and security.
Defining the boundaries of (delimit) the system.
Serving as a liaison between developers and users.
Maintaining relationships within an organization and with external partners.
Analyzing options to propose optimal solutions.
Documenting current system status as well as future system expectations.
Providing a basis for planning the technical contents of iteration.
Providing a basis for estimating cost and time to develop the system.
