Systems Engineer (Linux)

As a successful candidate, you will be challenged to work on a wide range of technologies with the primary focus being on designing the next generation secure and robust infrastructure of AVG  web and mobile platforms. You will be part of the design team with direct influence to final solutions, from building prototypes to implementation in production environments. You will be working in a highly creative and innovative team environment. You will work closely with internal application development teams to understand how applications function, the software and processes required to run and monitor them. You must be able to work in a team environment and listen, communicate, evaluate, problem solve, multitask effectively, and prioritize tasks in a high-pressure, challenging, and rewarding environment.

• Development of automated deployment to cloud environments in Continuous Delivery
• Infrastructure automation with Puppet, Jenkins, Bamboo and OpenStack...
• Design and infrastructure automation in Amazon, OpenStack
• Database technologies like mongoDB, MySQL/Galera, Elasticsearch
• Monitoring with Logstash/Kibana, Nagios, Ossec
• Deployment of OpenStack to production, build of Hadoop and ELK clusters
• 24/7 L2 on call support
