Scrum Master

The Scrum Master is accountable for working with team of developers and testers and removing impediments to the ability of the team to deliver the sprint goal/deliverables. The Scrum Master acts as a buffer between the team and any distracting influences. The Scrum Master ensures that the Scrum process is used as intended. A key part of the Scrum Master’s role is to keep the team focused on the tasks at hand. The Scrum Master works under line management and provides people coordination. Scrum Master is skilled at task management, communications and collaboration. He-She cooperates with Project Manager and Leaders in the organization as well other roles related to assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Leading one or multiple Scrum Teams
• Holding and participating Stand-up and other Scrum meetings
• Work and cooperation with Business Product Owners, Project Coordination roles, Project Managers, Technical Leads, Architects, Release team and Management
• Scrum Process keeper
• Provides necessary reports about progress (velocity) and status
• Can have exposure to other business functions and departments in order to deliver goals/tasks
• Continuously seek and implement improvements in Agile Process
• Acts as an Agile evangelist (limited to his/her role sphere of influence) and can perform internal Agile/Scrum trainings or mentoring for new Scrum Masters
