Position: Networking Sales Specialist for Czech Republic

This position is responsible for leading Sales of Avaya’s Networking portfolio into strategic enterprise accounts in Eastern Europe. In addition to building and working their own sales pipeline, the person in this role will also need to work closely with existing Account Managers and Channel Partners to ensure a seamless customer appearance in named accounts. This is a quota carrying position with high expectations for growth, supported by a lucrative compensation plan.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Avaya Networking business in Country
  • Penetrate list of strategic accounts working in coordination with Sales Engineering and Product Management resources
  • Serve as the regional networking sales specialist in existing named account opportunities
  • Achieve quarterly and annual networking quotas
  • Provide weekly forecast and pipeline updates
  • Develop strategic account sales plans
Skill and Knowledge Requirements:
  • Proven sales track record in selling to large enterprise, with contacts in major accounts
  • Strong networking product and industry knowledge with respect to SDN, Ethernet switching, and wireless mobility
  • Solid experience selling data center and campus solutions and technologies. Knowledge of Nortel/Avaya networking is an advantage.
  • Competitive awareness and ability to translate into effective battle plan
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Strong communication skills
  • 10+ years of quota carrying sales experience
  • BA/BS degree
