Job description, responsibilities and duties
Position Summary
• Development of new, multi-step syntheses of novel complex organic molecules.
Role and Responsibilities
• Synthesis of novel organic molecules with emphasis on their chemical and stereochemical purity
• Hands-on analytical monitoring of novel chemical reactions
• Record experimental details and analytical data accurately and thoroughly
• Safely perform all laboratory work and comply with all regulations, adhere to company policies
• Share essential maintenance and housekeeping duties of production equipment and chemistry laboratory areas
• Work completely independently but within the framework of the project

• Extensive experience in organic chemistry research is necessary
• At least a six-month-long research stay abroad is a must
• „Two-reactions a day“ rule strictly applies
• Ability to communicate efficiently and directly
• Fluent English required to communicate with customers weekly. The candidate is expected to report the research advance monthly through in-person or online presentations.
• Natural ability to manage a small team of co-workers with less experience
• The candidate must excel in all analytical techniques commonly employed in organic synthesis (NMR, HPLC, and MS)
• Ability to work on various scales and rationally employ all commonly used separation techniques of organic synthesis, including preparative HPLC
