Senior Project Managers leverage both strong project management and technical experience to define, manage, track and report project implementation details while coordinating with execution teams, client internal and vendor teams. You will be engaged for the largest and most complex projects, such as large client onboarding or replatforming existing solutions, which involve intricate dependencies between multiple systems and parties where you will need to provide guidance to manage risks, resource and timeline constraints.

  • All aspects of project management for a complexity projects (incl. risk management, change management, planning, tracking etc).
  • Delivers high-profile projects and programmes of work, typically with budgets, establishing and maintaining the correct structures to control and monitor the deliverables to the business.
  • Liases with management at the highest levels within the business, managing their expectations for projects.
  • Ensures that own projects are formally closed and, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed.
  • Interface, on a daily basis, with account managers, client contacts and a variety of COE leaders to ensure proper scope, resource allocation and dependencies are being addressed
  • Coach and lead cross-functional project teams made up of internal and vendor resources
  • Estimate projects using multiple techniques to arrive at realistic schedules
  • Oversee timely execution of work effort from project team
  • Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and required tasks, providing early visibility to schedules/milestones that are at risk
  • Independently manage day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects
  • Coordinate and facilitate communications with management and across teams
  • Manage project budget, scope and internal customer expectations
  • Manage changes during and after project implementation
  • Collect and analyze metrics to enable and lead continuous improvement of processes


Požiadavky na zamestnanca

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager on projects where software development was a primary component and the project team was at least 25 FTE
  • Solid technical understanding of software development processes.
  • Experience working on projects requiring the implementation of custom and vendor-supported technology.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and workshops in person and remotely
  • Ability to think and act analytically and strategically, solve problems and recommend approaches and solutions
  • Ability to think creatively and to inspire others to do so as well
  • Demonstrates effectiveness as an external, independent assessor on projects, recommending feasible improvements/alternatives based on thought leadership Is able to lead medium and large, geographically dispersed, multi-cultural, multi-disciplined project teams, including more than one sub-contractor in a consortium scenario
  • Demonstrates ability to think quickly and re-direct large projects to achieve the desired business benefits. Efficiently engages with senior stakeholders to agree/influence strategy, directing complex projects and maximise benefits. Leads medium/large complexity projects. Large team complexity (team size, geographical spread, sub-contractor terms and conditions etc.).
  • Fluency in English and Slovak is must
  • Required experience with System Integrations and SW solutions Required knowledge of local market and projects related to the Public Sector and/or Energy and Utilities Projects
  • PM certifications (PMP or Prince 2 Practitioner or IPMA B)
