Capacity Planning Analyst

The Analyst gathers performance data and assesses whether or not departments are performing according to production schedules. Produces reports that evaluate server plant capacity and identify areas where improvements can be implemented.
The Capacity planning Analyst is responsible for multiple projects or large complex projects with cross functional teams and business processes. They have medium to long range planning responsibilities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform modeling for shared service (servers, storage solutions)
• Provide application sizing for business, service and resource capacity activities
• Provide capacity plans for shared storage, network and platform services and resources
• Perform capacity monitoring, analysis and tuning activities
• Provide management information about Capacity Management quality and operations
• Provide detailed and dashboard reports for all shared resources

Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or related field or combination of knowledge and experience is appreciated
