- analyze structure and understand framework of the Visual Basic tool.
- determine architecture and design for the new Web-based tool
- create a PHP project, create a PHP application for each functional module in the VB tool
- create html templates for the PHP application (based on Windows Forms of the VB tool)
- create basic views in PHP

Information about the selection process
We are looking for a programmer with the below programming skills to contribute to our project of migrating an installable program written in Visual Basic to a Web-based tool written in Django and Python. The tool has several working modules. Our expectation is to (1) develop basic framework architecture of the Web based version of the tool in Django or Php and (2) convert VB Forms into Web Page templates.

- Advanced programming skills in the following languages are required: Visual Basic, Html, XML and one of the following combination: Php+Java scripts
- Good communication skills - ability to interact with project lead during the whole engagement time, explain solution, obstacles, risks etc.
- Ability to pay attention to detail, to make conscious effort to understand causes and to address all identified programming challenges
- Problem solver with very good analytical skills, able to spot issues that may affect the required outcome
- Time management skills – ability to track work independently and in timely manner
