Job description, responsibilities and duties

In order to predict potential operational limitations of the AT&T vendors, AT&T wishes to establish a team of Supplier Assessment Specialists. This team is looking for an experienced analyst to manage the new role.

The main responsibility of the team is to analyse supplier financial results and contracts and score the supplier financial condition and AT&T’s contractual exposure to potential issues of the supplier, according to an internally defined methodology.

The Senior Risk Analyst will lead the establishment of the methodology and process definitions and post implementation of these, own the process.

Roles and Responsibilities:
The tasks in scope include, but are not limited to:

• Leading Supplier Assessments based on published Financial results
• Analysing Supplier Contracts for AT&T’s exposure to potential financial issues of the vendor
• Creating Risk Assessment Scorecards
• Developing new Methods and Procedures for Supplier Assessment
• Providing support to less experienced colleagues
• Internal data audits (ensuring that changes to the contracts or associated supplier related information is correctly administrated and reflected)
• Driving / contributing to improvements of processes and tools around capturing and publishing carrier contract and associated information and set the standard.

• Proven experience with understanding corporate Financial reports
• Analytical Skills (financial and general data analysis)
• Able to extract key information from longer Documentation and non-standard formats into AT&T standard document.
• Communication & Presentation skills
• Appreciation of telecoms terminology knowledge
• MS Excel Senior Proficiency
• MS Access advantageous

Education and Qualifications:
• University degree
• 3+ years’ experience financial analytics, audits
• Written and spoken English
