Job description, responsibilities and duties

Strategic management of business intelligence and data analytics for continuous Carrier Cycle Time & On Time Performance improvement through creative opportunity innovation and reduction of Escalations & Expedites through RCA to address systemic issues. Innovation role supports conceptualization, implementation and execution of ongoing Global Command Center initiatives to improve the End-to-End customer experience including driving automation & productivity improvement

Roles and Responsibilities:
Interdisciplinary position will work closely with the Director, colleagues, internal stakeholders, and external partners to drive strategy around continuous Carrier performance improvement and Escalations & Expedites reduction using Business Intelligence data mining across diverse sources, analytic processing, and reporting to yield operational insights for improving the End-to-End customer experience. Insight will also be used to identify and support fact-based automation and operational productivity initiatives to be implemented either within the organization or by partnering with BizOps and/or Tech Dev. Position will communicate findings to cross-functional leadership teams in various forums and champion innovative opportunities to drive customer experience benefit and productivity gains in support of Global Command Center directives.

• Ability to distill strategic insights from data and communicate key findings to leadership team
• Experience creating highly-polished executive-level presentations
• Ability to build prototypes to demonstrate dashboard and analytical capabilities
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Excellent language capabilities in English
• Self-motivated, determined, success-driven collaborative team player with the ability to make independent decisions
• Highly organized, able to track & document issues in a structured and consistent manner
• Applicant must be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast moving environment and be prepared to work outside normal business hours when required
• Requires a flexible, innovative approach coupled with a probing 'can do' attitude
• Technical Skills (desired):
  • SQL
  • Object-oriented Programming
  • Graphical User Interface design
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Pivot Tables
  • Visual Basic
  • MS Access

Education and Qualifications:
University Degree – Computer Science-preferred

Additional Information:
Location: Lakeside office in Bratislava
Working hours: EMEA with expected flexibility
