Job description, responsibilities and duties
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operating within a matrix organization the successful candidate will need to develop effective working relationships with HR Country Managers, HR Business Partners and the wider HR team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Key activities are:
• Member of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) HR Country Operations team, HR Service Delivery team and the wider AT&T HR team
• Responsible for administrative support in Slovakia
• Maintain and keep local personnel and other HR files up to date and archived properly
• Benefit administration: tracking of changes in relevant databases, filing, benefit enrolment, etc.
• Local legislation compliance, ensuring record keeping with regards to work and compensation, health and medical insurance, employee contracts, employee legally required enrolments, and other required state and government regulations.
• Work on international projects when occurred
• Data reporting
Key Competencies and Skills:
Experience and Personal Skills:
• Fluent in Slovak & English - both spoken and business written
• Preferable minimum 1 year experience gained within an HR function
• Basic knowledge of Slovak Labor Law advantageous
• Solid experience with MS Office, specifically Excel and Word
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-confident, knowledgeable and pragmatic
• Stress resistant, able to work with strict deadlines
• Able to dig into the details but at the same time capable of differentiating essential versus non-essential details
• Administrative skills, data handling and reporting
• Very well organized, very structured in how work is handled
• Self-sufficient, independent, pro-active, able to pick up the phone and discuss topics in international environment
• Project Management Skills would be advantageous
• Ideally - Experienced in working and understanding the complexities of operating in an international environment
