Job description, responsibilities and duties

The tasks in scope include, but are not limited to:
• Developing and creating one off and repeated reports and analyses out of high volume data inputs (200+MB of structured data)
• Reporting expense per geography, suppliers, management silos, distribution of expense among service lines, cost centres etc
• Identifying trends
• Data interpretation
• Presentation of reports and analyses
• Manage Data quality issues by dealing with the Data owners
• Formatting to layout presentable to senior leadership (only some of the reports)
• Working with AT&T ops teams on cost saving initiatives (contribute by ideas resulting from analyses)

Information about the selection process

The hiring Procurement Analytics team is expanding in order to support the Procurement personnel and the AT&T Leadership team with a variety of repeated and one-off analyses, data interpretations and reports of the managed expense, suppliers, geographies etc.
The Cost Analyst & Reporting Specialist role is responsible for developing and creating such reports and analyses, managing underlying data quality (by providing feedback to data owners, by offering automated and semi-automated solutions of addressing recognized data gaps and inconsistencies) and presenting the created reports and analyses to the company leadership.
