Job description, responsibilities and duties
Location: Kosice, Slovakia
Working time: US Working hours ( 14:00 – 22:30 CET )
Change Engineer role operates within the Shared Lifecycle Management (LCM) team. You will be responsible for verification of all technical details enclosed in change tickets and/or service requests.
Roles and Responsibilities:
∙ Verify technical specifications & requirements of proposed changes in appropriate tools
∙ Identify and address gaps found in change or service requests proposals
∙ Check various types of devices in LAN/WAN environment, their configurations and settings
∙ Communicate discrepancies between end customer and implementation teams
∙ Work closely with Change Manager & Engineering team
∙ Attend related change (CAB) meetings as required
∙ Participate in change process improvements
Key Competencies and Skills:
∙ Both written & verbal communication skills
∙ Approachable with positive attitude
∙ Responsible, stress resistant and assertive
∙ Experience with change ticketing tools (AOTS CM, HP SM9, etc.) is an advantage
∙ Knowledge of AT&T tools (GPS, Business Direct and Business Objects) is an advantage
∙ Technical networking knowledge – CCNA is a must, CCNP is an advantage
∙ English – Fluent – both spoken and business written
∙ Excel – Advanced User
Education and Qualifications:
University education (Master's degree)
