Location: Bratislava or Kosice, Slovakia


Responsible for developing network designs and builds supporting large, complex corporate or public sector data networks for a large service integrator and end customers. Applies the necessary tools and engineering principles to create, design, and implement the network infrastructure in accordance with approved guidelines.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include work in one or more of several network disciplines (LAN, WAN, WLAN, Firewall, Voice, & DDI, They will be required to design and implement high complexity designs/solutions that will support the requested services. Will coordinates and interface with internal and external customers to ensure service commitments are met. Uses engineering tools, various software applications, and databases to assist in creating the engineering documents. Prepares / oversees cost/benefit estimates, presentations, negotiations, installation, and problem resolution. Provide project management and documentation as required and provide SME support to operations for critical network impacting events.

Key Competencies and Skills:
  • At least 3 years of successful network engineering or related experience
· LAN switching (Cisco, Brocade, and/or Arista)
· Routing for Internet and MPLS networks that support server farms, with focus on BGP and Juniper
· Firewall engineering covering Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Juniper, Fortinet, and/or ASA
· Bluecoat proxy
· F5 Load balancers
∙ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language
∙ Self starter who can work effectively, independently, as well as, in a cross functional team environment
∙ Comfortable working in an structured, fast paced environment that embraces an entrepreneurial spirit
∙ 0 % travel is required
· Ability to learn quickly

Good to have:
∙ Technical certifications - Cisco, Juniper
  • Experience in Network Architecture, Networks Engineering, Capacity planning and management
  • Process and Project Management

Education and Qualifications:
University degree in Math, Science or Engineering preferred or equivalent related network experience. Experience: Typically at least 3 years of successful network engineering or related experience.

Location: Aupark
Working hours: EMEA with flexibility for additional hours or weekends as per client needs.
