Capacity Planner (Data Flow Management)

The main role of the position is Data Flow Management – providing application administration of the BMC Performance Assurance tool used for Capacity Management and Planning data collection in our UNIX, Linux, and Windows environment. The successful candidate will respond to and resolve issues impacting successful collection and transfer of raw Capacity Planning data, troubleshooting application, agent, and connectivity failures, and planning and executing upgrades of the tool. Success is based on maintaining the stability of the Capacity Planning infrastructure and overall percentage of systems monitored.

The expanding part of this position will be to incorporate administration of the TSCO tool used for Capacity Planning Data Flow Management of our Cloud environments worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Review and respond to data feed faults
• Manage application dashboard
• Interface with application vendor
• Partner with System Administration team for Root Cause Analysis
• Perform application upgrades
