Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Production Engineer is responsible for technical data validation, SDP, equipment list, IP addressing, router configuration, port and PVC provisioning.
Individuals will participate in a team that is dedicated to new and emerging services/markets, and must quickly learn and adapt to new processes, tools, and technologies.
The individual will have responsibility for the efficient and effective completion of all activities requested within the team, to meet customer driven goals and deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities
Production Engineer is responsible for:
• Creating EOL, SDP
• Building base router configuration
• Updating of Databases and Tools to ensure that the EVPN/AVPN Customer Service is Managed, Measured and Billed.
• Provisioning of customer PVCs and Switch Ports
• Removal of customer PVCs and Switch Ports
• Interrogating orders and emails to identify customer requirements
• Communication with OM’s, Lead Engineer to support the overall success of the project

o Knowledge MPLS protocol and Cisco equipment beneficial
• Proficiency with software applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint,
• Strong data entry and PC skills
Education:
• University education
Language skills:
• Very Good English Language skills
Other skills:
• Excellent Team Player, organisation, detail oriented and flexible
• Excellent communication skills are a necessity along with the ability to use individual initiative, liaising & interfacing AT&T Project Management, Engineering & Management Teams.
