Role description:
- Preparation, Planning, Implementation, Troubleshooting, Documentation and Communication of all technical elements required to provide world-class Voice solutions to IBM
- Service delivery and implementation with all technical aspects of installations using Change Management principles
- Implementation and application of latest Security Standards based on templates, AT&T's Strategic Directions and view, SLAs and service standards
- Support architecture, service management, sales and pre-sales functions
- Support the implementation part of projects in transitions or transformation of sites or voice services
Work content & responsibilities:
- Providing high level and detailed Voice designs as integrated solutions
- Translating customer requirements into technical solutions and functional specifications
- Ensuring and demonstrating compliance with IBM and AT&Ts security and change policies
- Providing Steady State Design & Implementation Support
- Maintaining Voice service and site specific documentation

Personality requirements and skills
- Practical skills and experience with voice applications, infrastructure products, technologies, and services
- Must be able to establish, implement, and enforce appropriate standards in the creation and implementation of the solution whenever project requirements call for or would benefit from the use of standards
- Must be able to demonstrate mastery of written and verbal communication skills which include the ability to stay on subject and leverage the use of good feedback
- Should have experience in voice area and have solid hands on knowledge to be able to implement designed solutions based on Cisco, Avaya equipment with services delivered also by other vendors like Unify (former Siemens)
- Should have voice knowledge & skills equivalent to CCNP Voice/Collaboration level
Experience with:
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Avaya Communications Manager, Cisco Voice Gateways, Unify (former Siemens) OSV, Analog Voice gateways, Siemens HiCom and HiPath, PBXes
- SIP, H.323, MGCP, SCCP, SRST, QoS, RTP, RTCP, cRTP, sRTP, VLAN, DSCP, MST, STP, DHCP & options, DNS, NTP and TFTP
- Dial Plan, Numbering Plan, Call Routing, Manipulation & Presentation, Calling Privileges, Path Selection, End User features
- Security: ACLs, TACACS, Radius, CA, PKI
- ISPs, Telecommunications and vendor handling
- Troubleshooting End User issues, Telephony Systems issues
- Preferably CCNP Voice/Collaboration and/or Avaya certified

Flexibility:
