Location – Bratislava, Lakeside
Working time – US hours
Contract: Maternity Cover (approx 1 year)

Manages, delivers and deploys aspects of network architecture, design, engineering and detail network specifications in order to migrate client from current network environment to the new environment. May include vendor management, client relations, resource planning and management, project management and quality assurance, new equipment installation and configuration and client training.

The Managed Security SIM position focuses on gathering, analyzing, and validating customer requirements (Chief Engineer), determining proper configurations, and working with customers in understanding the service. It is a technical project management type function (Proj Mgt) that also involving the ordering/tracking/installing/testing of customer premise equipment. The role is customer facing, and requires strong communications, strong IP based trouble-shooting skills, a high level of service comprehension, and certainly an attention to on-time performance as determined by customers and internal guidelines/targets.

Personality requirements and skills

For this position you should preferably have strong communication skills and should be a graduate of a university. Knowledge of information technologies (TCP/IP, network protocols, WAN) and project management. Previous experience in Firewall Service Delivery and Project Management environment is an advantage.
1. Fluent in the English language. Good verbal communication skills and proficient writing ability.
2. Knowledge of various communication technologies and Firewall technologies e.g. TCP / IP, Ports / Protocols, Routing protocols, LAN, WAN technologies.
3. Sound knowledge of Routers, Bridges, Multiplexers, and Switches
4. The ability to interact on the phone with customers and their peers during the implementation and problem determination process. Prior experience interfacing directly with customers, project managers, internal organizations and PTT companies is desired
5. Strong problem solving abilities. Confident communicator with the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and customers.
6. Self-motivated, proactive and willing to take ownership of issues and drive them to timely and successful resolution with a minimum of supervision
7. Prior project management experience is very helpful
8. Prior experience in Firewall Service Delivery is an advantage.
9. Prior experience with Cisco router configurations
10. PC literate with experience using a range of software packages (Spreadsheets, Outlook email, Web databases, etc.)
