Job description, responsibilities and duties

Summer Internship, Duration: 1st July to 15th September
40 hours per week
The internship is financially compensated.

Candidate will participate in the GCSO Summer Intern program designed to promote exposure and real life experience across Information Technology Centers of Excellence which include: System & Storage Administration, Quality Assurance, Metrics, Process, Change Management, Training Coordination, and Project Management.

Candidate will complete projects in a short timeframe focused on quality assurance, metrics & process mapping.
Candidate will interact with multiple teams in order to coordinate ongoing activities in the field of knowledge sharing
Candidate will help with programming and scripting of lab resource
Candidate will help to update and maintain existing documentation and training materials
Candidate will help with change management processes
Be provided an in-depth look at AT&T and the telecommunications industry
Be provided opportunities to interact with their BU leaders and a variety of leaders from different areas of AT&T

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University student
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Advanced English - written and Spoken
University student - IT/Technical field
Web design and development –Ruby, HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript or MySQL
Scripting development – PERL, MySQL
Basic understanding and/or experience with Linux systems administration
Basic understanding of Information Technology principles and use of computer systems
Good communication, analytical and organizational skills
Friendly and outgoing personality, team worker
MS Office suite, Outlook email
