The International HR Service Delivery team is responsible for helping and supporting employees wherever they are located. Within the Europe and Middle-East region (EMEA) we employ over 6000 employees supported by over 80 HR professionals. From Service Delivery and Centers of Excellence to business partnering, we manage a wide range of strategic initiatives and people-related operational transactions.
As a Manager HR Country Operations for EMEA region, you will be responsible for ensuring AT&T’s compliance with HR Process Administration, Benefit Plan Administration and Tier 1 Case Management in support of the employees and supervisors. You will be based in Bratislava, Slovakia and managing a team of 15 EMEA HR Country Operations team members based mainly in Bratislava, Slovakia. In addition, you will be provide remote management for EMEA HR Country Operations members located in other EMEA countries (i.e. - Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, etc.). There will be some expectation of occasional travel, but very limited and based on the needs of the business (about 5%).
The team’s main focus lies within local operational support, preparation of contracts and contract amendments, managing payroll and benefits, supporting execution of HR policies, being responsible for all EMEA countries specific operational and administrative activities.
Working with the other colleagues from International HR Service Delivery team you will continuously monitor the performance of the team and quality of output , making recommendations for improvement and continuously striving for service excellence, as well as managing projects to transform existing services to improve customer satisfaction.
To be considered for this role you will have preferably several years of experience as a HR Manager who has significant experience of motivating and leading a large team within a shared service environment. You will have managed high volume HR administration and will have previously led on HR projects and/or organizational transformation.

Responsibilities:
• Providing supervisory support and operational guidance to the HR Country Operations Team in EMEA
• Providing support to the wider international HR teams
• Support international HR centralization efforts including change management transformation
• Guiding and supporting broader regional or cross-regional projects
• Raising awareness of HR country specific issues for EMEA
• Representing HR Country Operations EMEA team in internal as well as external meetings
• Being Point of Contact for escalations on EMEA HR Country Operations topics

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Fluent in English - both spoken and business written
• Preferably 5 years’ experience gained within a HR function
• General knowledge of labor law for all of EMEA; extended knowledge of Slovak labor law
• Previous supervisory experience
• Capability in the management of large scale projects
• Detail-oriented but at the same time capable of differentiating essential versus non-essential details
• Proactive in solving problems and seeking solutions
• Highly effective communication and managerial skills
• Change orientated and able to manage conflict resolution at a certain complexity
• Stress resistant, able to work with strict deadlines
• Self- motivated and proactive in extending their professional HR knowledg
