Job description, responsibilities and duties
Working time (depending on candidate's preference): EMEA working hours 9 AM - 5.30 PM CET OR US working hours. 2 PM– 10.30 PM CET.
This Network Engineering position is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting the WAN/LAN infrastructures for several accounts. This position will also provide lifecycle management, quality assurance, customer communications, and technical/troubleshooting support. The candidate will be assigned to multiple complex accounts encompassing a wide range of technical feature sets.
Responsibilities will also include traffic engineering, hardware/software configuration, diversity analysis, disaster recovery analysis, inventory management, utilization analysis, network implementation, problem management and general subject matter expertise. Candidate will coordinate closely with vendors to resolve production problems and to ensure product quality. Receives escalations from operations teams and resolves customer-impacting network outages. Candidate works with other internal teams (ATT Labs) on chronic problems in the network. Uses engineering specified hardware and software configurations for new network elements and coordinates with field support organizations to install these elements. Coordinates with planning and engineering organizations to ensure all plans integrate seamlessly with existing architectures and processes.
Introduces new technologies to the production environment and ensures these technologies are ready for wide scale deployment. Performs complex changes to networks that impact customers nationally and internationally. Works on problems of extremely complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation covering all aspects of IP based networking. Provides guidance and leadership to the work of others on the team and serves as a technical knowledge source within the organization. Makes major contributions that have direct impact on the quality of service provided to customers. Candidate must achieve results that have business benefits such as cost savings and efficiency improvements to the network.

We are searching for 3 Lead engineers. Location is either Bratislava or Kosice, depending on candidate's preference.
Requirements for the employee
Candidates with education suit the position
University education (Master's degree)

English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills
Position requires a good understanding of large networks, network equipment, provisioning, trouble isolation, and equipment configurations. Position also requires a good understanding of routing protocols, routed protocols, security, and application services.
Significant experience with Cisco Routers/Switches required especially: TCP/IP, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, RIP, QOS, MPLS, HSRP/VRRP.
Knowledge of Layer 2 and 1 protocols/services are also required: Switching, VLANs, Ethernet, STP,Frame-Relay, ATM, Private Line, DS1, DS3, OCx.
Experience with loadbalancers ACE/F5 ,Nexus technology, Juniper devices is a plus. Excellent communication, client interface and project management skills required.
Required Education and Training
Degree in Computer Science preferred. 5+ years experience required. Ability to mentor others required.
Desired Skills: Cisco Certifications preferred: CCNP, CCIP, CCDP.
