Job description, responsibilities and duties

Location: Kosice, Slovakia
Working time: 24/7 support – different shifts

We are looking for individuality with a passion for networking, troubleshooting and providing world-class customer service. Suitable candidate will be responsible for the timely installation, possible problem determination, troubleshooting, and problem resolving and service activation in cooperation with internal and external resources.

Responsibilities:

Supporting OSP installation and/or maintenance
Assisting in the maintenance of switch/cell/network equipment and/or the installation, rearrangement and removal of equipment and associated wiring at the customer site or at company location
Assisting in the testing, location, and repair of equipment problems associated with trouble reports and performs routine maintenance on switch
Assisting in testing and adjusting equipment as necessary

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Fluent English language communication skills are required including proficient writing ability
PC literate with experience of MS office package
CCNA certification - an advantage
Knowledge of communication technologies and networking technologies e.g. TCP / IP, Routing protocols, LAN, WAN technologies
Sound knowledge of Routers, Switches, Wireless controllers and Access points
Preferable experience with Cisco/Juniper router and switch configurations
The ability to interact on the phone with customers and peers during the implementation and troubleshooting process
Passion for networking, Flexible, Analytical, Problem solver, Stress resistant, Team player
