Job description, responsibilities and duties

Location: Kosice Slovakia
Working time: EMEA hours


Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom reports and charts to meet customer requirements
  • Work with cross-functional teams to obtain metric/reports information in order to compile data elements and address issues/gaps accordingly
  • Conduct analysis of trends and pareto key drivers; explain and deliver report to functional teams
  • Identify opportunities for automation, from a reporting perspective, and implement efficiencies in a timely and effective manner
  • Communicate results, inaccuracies and outliers internally to SLA Manager and functional team
  • Work with Process Manager to develop and/or update process documentation, distribute new/changed process notification to those impacted (including those with a “need to know”) and ensure those impacted are effectively trained on process
  • Support IT development and testing activities, as related to new process, business requirements

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Required Skills:

  • Fluent English
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Word
  • Experienced in collecting and interpreting statistical data
  • Experience with interpretation of reporting requirements in support of adhoc reporting
  • Extensive application testing experience
  • Must excel in the preparation of reports and analytical charts and demonstrate the ability to create and maintain reports using Business Objects, Cognos and/or MS Access
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience in collecting and interpreting data
  • Demonstrated knowledge using software programming logic/code to create efficiencies in reports is required

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in understanding network and operational service level metrics
  • ITIL Foundations certification
  • Knowledge of relational databases (i.e., SQL, MS Access, Oracle)
  • Experience using the following tools: AOTS, GPS/Vantive, ICE, Business Direct, SharePoint and Databank
