Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Responsible for managerial oversight over team of up to 40 engineers providing Tier2 & Tier 3 support for AT&T’s internal servers infrastructure ( break-fix, change and projects).
Day to day activities include:
Required skills end experience:
Minimum of 1-3 year proven people management experience
Great people managerial skills, experience in managing large teams 20 people is advantage
Sufficient knowledge of UNIX/Windows system administration including audit and change is advantage
Knowledge of AT&T internal processes is advantage.
Ability to understand, enhance and implement complex it processes
Proven exposure in managing multicultural and diverse teams
Interest in emerging technologies - Cloud, Big data, Virtualizaion
Ability to work in virtual teams across the globe
Fluent English both spoken and written

- resource management incl. work scheduling
- focal and escalation point for all incident and change related activities performed by the team,
- career/personal development and day-to-day point of contact for all staff.
- overall team’s performance evaluation and reporting
