The International HR Business Partner Team at AT&T wishes to hire an HR Project Manager who will closely cooperate with the HR Business Partner and support the business unit with HR related analyses and work on HR projects. If you have an HR experience, excellent time management skills and ability to collect and analyze data, please read further.

Functions as project manager, change agent and trusted contributor in the delivery of business goals, key challenges and people strategies. Manages the co-ordination and delivery of solutions to meet business needs resulting in/contributing to revenue growth, productivity gains, employee engagement and cost reduction.
This role requires much of the work to be completed via conference calls and emails working with remote managers in International and US locations.


Work Content & Responsibilities

HR Project Support
  • Management of recruitment activity across multiple business units which requires close control of the staffing approval process in line with current policy
  • Working in close partnership with the Global Mobility team to ensure BU compliance with policy due to ever increasing numbers of expat workers
  • Co-ordination of the Performance Management process across multiple business units
  • Co-ordination and tracking of annual Salary Merit Increase (SMI) across multiple business units
  • Project managing the functional exit program which requires close liaison with HR Country Managers (who provide the in country expertise) and functional business managers.
  • Contribute to the successful implementation and ongoing reporting of HR success metrics
  • Production of key management information including detailed BU headcount reports
  • International Policy initiatives – partner with HRBPs on implementation of policies and initiatives
  • Employee Engagement – partner with HRBPs to assist with action planning and focus on key employee productivity and engagement factors in the global environment
  • Support unit specific business strategies and wherever possible engage with members of the HRBP team to share proposals and outcomes (successes and obstacles)

HR Strategic Support
  • In the event of HRBP absence the role may require the jobholder to manage a variety of HRBP activity e.g. leading high-value recruitment programs and handling complicated functional exits

HR Effectiveness
  • Continue to improve global HR tools and processes, provide cost effective global HR support
  • Contribute to the process improvement for cross-functional Workforce planning
  • Support development of International HR metrics/dashboard

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Skills / Requirements
  • English Language
  • Key project management skills
  • HR expertise and professionalism with an ability to be able to work across multiple projects and activities in supporting specific BUs.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide dedicated HR Partner support in a complex and high volume environment.
  • Systems Knowledge: Microsoft Office, HR Operating Systems and working with Intranet based process solutions
  • MS Excel – advanced (pivot tables, ability to collect large amount of data)
  • A good team player with commitment and positive attitude

Experience and Education
  • 3-5 years post qualified experience preferably gained within a global business
  • HR experience + project management experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, influencing and project management skills
  • Flexibility to work across different time zones
