Job description, responsibilities and duties
Working hours: EMEA
Business Analyst will be part of Billing Project & Process Management Centre (BPMC) within GBBS&O. In general an analyst is someone who analyzes the existing and ideal (to-be) situation, and defines the transition path to reach the ideal. BBA will support Billing Programs/Portfolios run within the BPMC department by:
• focusing on process (business process modelling)
• quality (quality management)
• systems (interpretation of business rules and requirements for technical systems)
• data (data mining and identifying trends and opportunities within data) analysis
Principle responsibilities:
o Define the current business situation of a project scope
o Define the target business situation of a project scope
o Gather business requirements by consulting various SMEs
o Create business solution
o Prepare test scenarios to be tested before the implementation of the business solution
o Collaborate with project manager during the project life cycle
o Review business opportunities and challenges to identify opportunities for improvements
o Lead & execute investigation in support of program, including data analysis, business case development
o Lead projects / feasibility studies (LEAN, 6 Sigma) to understand and resolve business issues
o Assist Program Manager in communication / present results to stakeholders
o Supports innovation activities within GBBS&O

Requirements for the employee
Candidates with education suit the position
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)
Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills
o Master degree
o Minimum of 2 year experience in Business Analysis, Process improvement or Project management
o CBAP/ PMP certification is an advantage
o LEAN and 6 sigma (desired)
o PC literacy (MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point), Internet, Visio
o Analytical thinking
o Detail oriented
o A self-starter demonstrating initiative and the ability to work around issues
o Pro-actively looking for new assignment opportunities
o Ability to cope with stressful situations & prioritize workload
o Well organized and precise
o Follow and meet job objectives
o Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written
o A team player with well-developed versatility
o Ability to communicate on different organizational levels
