Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Main responsibilities:
• Assure that all billing inputs are received completely, accurately, consistently and timely
• Validate input from several sources (incl; suppliers), to avoid any input errors and/or avoid customer dissatisfaction
• Generation of feeder files
• Retention of raw data
• Coordinate resolution of billing fallout and lead issue resolution for items causing unbilled:
• Continuously improve the quality and efficiency of the source input / feeders, including opportunities for automation, and writing requirements.
• Ensure monthly bill process is completed in a timely fashion
• Work with the customer and suppliers where needed, to confirm quality of data (incl. accounts setup)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
Master / University degree
A background in Finance/Accounting, Billing and Business mgt/Analysis. Ideally in all.
Years of experience required 5+ years
• Applicant must be a self starter; proactive and focused on delivering a high quality and timely service
• Excellent Communication skills at all levels
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and work well under pressure
• Good with numbers and possessing analytical thinking qualities
• Works well independently and with others, no task-management should be needed. Has a flexible, innovative approach coupled with a 'can do' attitude
• Strong business acumen and commercial perspective
• Strong organisational skills
• Team player
• Applicant must be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast moving environment and be prepared to work outside normal business hours when required
• Excellent English language – written and spoken (mandatory)
• Excellent excel skills (required) and Data modeling (preferred)
• Work with the customer and suppliers where needed, to confirm quality of data (incl. accounts setup)
