LOCATION: Bratislava or Kosice, Slovakia
WORKING HOURS: US working hours preferred (approx. 2 PM – 10:30 PM with possibility to reach an agreement and adjust the working hours from time-to time); twice a quarter flexibility on call 24/7 is required

This is a Senior Network Engineer role with focus on established LAN, WAN, ACE Load Balancer skills. Additionally ,the account offers technical growth opportunity for NetScaler, Bluecoat and ASA firewall platforms. This engineering role is customer facing and provides excellent opportunity to develop customer relationship and project management skills for candidates interested in expanded technical and managerial career development.

Senior Network Engineer is responsible for technical, operational and SLA supervision of Broadridge Financial GTM contract. The successful candidate will serve as primary engineering support for MACD and network operations by managing Broadridge Financial customer devices and end-to-end services.

Responsibilities include :
• Identifying sources of problems, and resolving configuration issues.
• Monitor Network elements, fault identification and management, performance reporting, real-time performance tuning, and capacity planning and analysis.
• Engages equipment and service vendors to support network operations.
• Responds to and may implement client requests and notifies them of network problems and the impact on customer's business.
• Acts on client's behalf in handling network problems and changes. Implementation for various transformation projects, which will include troubleshooting complex network routing designs, interface with project teams, documentation and implementation.
• Consults about network performance, throughput, protocols, network security, and infrastructure technology changes

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• 3-5 years experience in networking
• CCNP Certficate is a must;CCIE Certficate is an advatage
• Knowledge in network and system architecture (Subsystems, interfaces, hw/sw dependencies)
• Knowledge of security (encryption, certificates, firewalls, VPNs…)
• Some knowledge of ACE, NetScaler Load Balancer and Bluecoat Proxy is required
• Interest in deepening the knowledge of Network Security and firewalls
• Proficient in Network Management, Tools and Protocols (Configuration, IP Network Address Management, Performance Management)
• Fluency in English
