Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Responsible for offering support to vendors performing maintenance or new installation of equipment on AT&T cell sites.
Roles and Responsibilities:
-Register and document in the NFSD ticketing data base all the activities performed on cell sites national wide;
-Perform pre and post health checks for all equipment co-located at a cell site to ensure that upon completion of the work, the overall status is at least as good as it was prior to the performed activity;
-Operate with AOTS-CTS tickets to suppress alarms on sites during the planned maintenance work;
-Lock and unlock equipments in various technologies (UMTS and LTE) and in multi-vendor OSSs such as Nokia, Siemens, Nortel, Ericsson and Alcatel-Lucent;
-Troubleshoot new alarms either remotely or by guiding the vendor in order to solve the fault and clear the alarm;
-Retrieve and analyze quality indicators like RSSI, VSWR and KPIs to determine a cell’s performance;
-Collaborate with other departments to escalate trouble tickets created for alarms that could not be solved by us nor the vendor after the work was completed
Key Competencies and Skills:
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Basic networking.
RAN experience is an advantage.
Knowledge of 2G, UMTS and LTE is an advantage.
CCNA is an advantage.
Education and Qualifications:
College Degree or equivalent experience
Mobility Ran architecture knowledge
