Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Reporting and controlling for the plant legal entity
- Being in liaison with global shared service centre and other functions (e.g. purchasing, logistics), ensuring the completeness and accuracy of financial records in the SAP and other information systems for all areas arising from the company’s status as a separate legal entity (e.g. transfer pricing, statutory and fiscal ledgers, resales of products from other companies) in accordance with the Group’s accounting policies (based on IFRS)
- Ensuring all appropriate finance and tax documentation is prepared and maintained in accordance with local laws and in compliance with the Group’s policies and standards
- Collaborating with external auditors and tax authorities on information request and audits
- Ensuring adequate and robust internal controls are in place and operating effectively throughout the company, including non-manufacturing teams
- Preparing cash flow forecasts to support treasury planning
- Monitoring cash, loan and currency balances
- Continuously evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of finance processes in the entity, and their consistency with global processes
- Supporting the plant in setting cost management and reduction plans
- Supporting the Plant Finance Manager with analysis to enable robust decision making by the plant management team
- Working with group finance to provide technical accounting support to the plant when needed
- Analysing and preparing commentary on management reports
- Supporting the monitoring and control of capital investment projects during and after implementation
