Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Carrying out work in a job description, employment contract, the Labour Code and the existing internal regulations, standards and orders of senior staff in the person of Managing Director and General Manager
• Collaborating with various internal and external functions and works based on Corporate instructions and best industry practice
• Developing and executing the Air, Sea and Rail Freight sales strategy for international growth and assist in determining the markets, pricing strategies, systems and processes to achieve the sales and profit objectives
• Planning, organizing and implementing strategic and tactical sales and distribution plans for the markets
• Developing and maintaining a strong relationship with new and existing clients and partners, and Freight Forwarding network
• Identifying new business leads and to convert prospects into sales
• Ensuring direct sales activities, attainment of monthly and annual sales and profit objectives for international markets
• Hands-on management of assigned direct key accounts in the international markets
• Negotiating, executing and maintaining all international distributor agreements
• Developing, maintaining and managing export sales forecasts for all product lines
• Advising distributors and accounts on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of all sales and marketing activities and results
• Training, developing, mentoring and providing leadership for Overseas Transport Coordinators
• Coordinating, oversee and manage the budgets, forecasts and reports
• Providing regular reporting and communication to management and offers recommendations for change that will positively impact the markets and the business
• Attending industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
• Presenting to and consulting with management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels
• Liaising and working with the internal team such as Finance, Sales and others to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the organization
• Implementing additional tasks as instructed by immediate superior
