Job description, responsibilities and duties

Analysing market trends and competitors activities
Knows and enriches consumer insight on his/her brand and markets based on observations, data panels and ad hoc studies
Ensuring the best use trends & consumer insights to complete its projects
Identifying and propose areas for developing its business
Defying and developing product/range positioning under the brand
Managing and optimizing the product range
Managing the idea generation process
Defying and aligning brand communication strategy
Participating actively in advertising creation and support the production process
Coordinating the internal departments (legal, regulatory and consumer) and external (agencies) in order to ensure the efficiency of the production and the implementation of the creative work
Optimizing and following budget allocation
Optimizing packaging design in line with the brand positioning and the consumer expectations
Defying and implementing strategies for consumer sale price in agreement with the objectives of the brand, the commercial department and the business unit
Promotion
Defying and recommending in collaboration with sales, the brand promotional approach (consumer and sales) in line with marketing and sales objectives
Integrating the trade objectives and constraints in the brand/range strategy
Building adequate point-of-sale actions with the sales team
Actively participating in Brands strategic planning of Central Europe
Building the annual marketing plan of his/her brands and review it at key time of the year
Analysing the necessary budget resources to achieve the objectives, recommend and justify the budgets, use it efficiency in order to optimize the growth and profit
Implement the projects and activities included in the annual marketing plan: NPD, promotions, Packaging, etc, in coordination with sales team
Following the business of his/her brands and recommend corrective actions in case of non-achievement of objectives
Being proactive in improving the profitability of its brands
Supervising and support the personal development of its junior product brand
Ensuring the team effectiveness to achieve the business objectives
Working in an insecure and difficult business environment, with fierce competition, that requires constant monitoring of the different markets
Federate around common goals and coordinate the actions of different actors with no hierarchical link
Budget cuts and adjustments to new budgets
Managing external agencies

University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) or French - Upper intermediate (B2)

Proven leadership skills
Strong consumer understanding
Strong experience in NPD
Experience in advertising and media planning
Deep knowledge of distributor and consumer panels
Deep knowledge of consumer promotion creation and packaging development

Familiar with business financials (P&L steering, portfolio management, basic knowledge of 3N and condition analysis)
