Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Leading the procurement department which contains material planning, purchasing and order processing
- Assuring to reach the annual goals provided by the group
- Being a member of the management team
- Being responsible for customer relationship, material prices, management result, supplier evaluation, performance measurement and development, stock value / turnover, team management, project leading
- Sharing know-how with the Lean Managers of the other plants, cooperating with them to spread the Lean culture
- Participating in the creation of project of a new long term planning concept for the company and in the related harmonization process
- Leading the MPS level 2 at Plant level (Master Production Schedule)
- Leading the team of the Supply Planners
- Guaranteeing material availability to the factory
- Collecting and updating the key data about production line used for the capacity planning by interacting with the Production Managers
- Defining the raw materials inventory strategy at the plant and monitoring inventory levels to achieve the assigned targets
- Setting the rules for the regular master data update for MRP
- Having budget responsibility
- Managing up to 6 employees
- Reporting to the Plant Manager

Personality requirements and skills

Professional profile:
- University education in the field of management engineering or business administration
- Minimally 4 - 5 years of experience as procurement manager, logistics / planning manager within multinational companies
- Previous experience with procurement, logistics
- Strong know how in planning and procurement
- Active knowledge of English language, additional language is an advantage
- PC skills (MS Office, Internet), knowledge of SAP MM and PP, Query and quick view capacity is an advantage
