Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Responsible for launching projects of continuous performance improvement in the sites of the company Group
Leading the project on one defined site (with help and support from methods and tools for manufacturing performance team):
Initiating the approach
Taking an active part in the diagnosis
Drawing and following the planning (improvement teams, audits, communication)
Directly leading 1 local coordinator with focus on training-education pillar
Leading one improvement team at least
Following and favor the progress of the other teams
Alert in case of deviation (planning, results…)
Learning and appropriating methods and tools at first and subsequently train new project members to these tools and methods
Preparing and leading local steering committees
Weekly reporting on the project
Promoting the approach at the site, the country and the zone levels at every hierarchical level
Ensuring of the perpetuation of the approach:
Organizing and participating to audits to ensure the right appropriation of the approach by everyone and the absence of deviation
Initiating new improvement teams
Acting as a continuous improvement expert at the site and the company Group levels (referent, trainer…)
Setting up the pillars management, leading regular meetings to follow the results
Contributing to the definition of standards, norms and best practices for manufacturing management and performance measurement, promoting and setting them up
Accumulating the knowledge and the acquired experience
Acting as a key actor in the local change management and the cultural transformation of the site
Participating to the company Model construction:
Participating to the local continuous improvement coordinators meetings and sharing with counterparts and methods and tools for manufacturing performance team
Identifying and promoting best practices on the site to integrate them to the company Group best practices

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Professional profile:
University education
Approximately 3-5 years of experience in international environment in management of projects related to Lean Manufacturing principles implementation
Knowledge of the production, logistics, maintenance jobs
Project management skills
Fluent knowledge of English language, French is an advantage
PC skills (MS Office, SAP is an advantage)
