Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Providing management of all generalist HR issues
Developing and implementing new HR policies and procedures within the work place
Ensuring full commitment to company policy, legal and customer requirements, supporting training, team development and planning, recruitment, communications and discipline
Monitoring key performance measures against agreed standards and detail these as part of monthly review
Developing new HR initiatives to support the business strategy
Working with the Senior Management Team on Key organizational and development issues
Reviewing, developing and implementing policies and procedures for the recruitment, selection, induction and retention of staff
Facilitating and monitoring the staff appraisal system, keeping it under review and making recommendations for change in line with the best practice
Coordinating of training and development activities
Consulting as appropriate with the recognized Trade Union and developing relationships between representative and company
Carrying out disciplinary activities when required
Managing HR Administrator and other HR functions
Responsible for any other projects or tasks assigned by management team

University education, degree in business related discipline
Approximately 5 years of experience within production environment
Knowledge of Slovak labor code
Experience with Trade unions and shift system of work
Skilled in human resources management
Fluent knowledge of English language
