Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are seeking a talented IT/Business Applications Professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both technical IT solutions and business applications, with a focus on enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and overall business performance through technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Evaluate, select, and implement IT systems and applications that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Configure, customize, and maintain business applications to meet the specific needs of various departments and teams.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for business applications, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including system requirements, user guides, and training materials.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in IT/business applications, recommending innovative solutions to enhance business processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to drive projects to successful completion.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security standards in all IT/business applications implementations.


Additional Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in setting up an automated enrollment process for application users.
  • Proficiency in configuring access management over Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • Experienced in APIs (e.g., Rest and GraphQL) for integration purposes.
  • Experience in developing data exchange solutions with tools like Powerflow.
  • Experience in developing Powerapps for supporting apps like user portals.
  • Demonstrated interest in learning how to administer new tools.
  • Experienced in migrating on-prem hosted applications to Azure Cloud.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT/business applications roles, with a focus on system implementation and support.
  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing business applications such as ERP systems, CRM systems, and collaboration tools.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with database management, SQL queries, and integration techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, Salesforce Administrator) are a plus.
