Embedded Systems Developer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for Embedded Systems Developer to join our team. Being a point of contact for the customer, you play a key role within the department. Our team in Bratislava is working on development of top line competitive products for telecommunication test and measurement purpose – handheld test and measurement devices and home appliances, SW and HW architecture, design and development.
As an Embedded systems developer you will be responsible for design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and support of software components for the Anritsu product range or solutions for different customers. Your area of competence will also include developing software implementations according to the specified standards and conventions. We are looking for a motivated professional, who demonstrates creativity and initiative in approach to work. You shall be able to work independently but also as a part of a team.


To join us in this role you will need:

• relevant degree in computer science and /or related field with at 3+ years of relevant experience
• tracked record of delivering clean and working designs and architectures
• good foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
• working knowledge of software development life-cycle including requirements analysis and review, design, implementation, and testing
• programming languages: C, C++, assemblers on different platforms
• knowledge of embedded development on different platforms, Design Patterns, UML, eventually OOP
• experience with programming under LINUX operating system, shell scripting, python, DSP, FPGA development
• experience with systematic software and hardware development methodologies (according to an internal development life-cycle) is a plus
• to be a ‘team worker’ who actively participates in discussion within the team.
• good communication skills both written and verbal, English language is a MUST
• being able to travel
• positive attitude to changes
